This standout beauty caught our attention at the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens of Holland in the spring of 2019. Currently a rare find in the U.S. 3–4" wide blooms light up with apricot, orange, and soft rose hues. Colors transform and soften as the blooms mature. Named after Dutch astronaut Andre Kuipers. NOTE: Bulbs do not come pre-chilled; if growing in hardiness Zones 8–10, see growing information (below) for pre-chilling instructions.
• Classification: Parrot Tulip
• Does not naturalize/perennialize readily (see growing information for instruction on promoting and caring for perennial plantings)
• Grows best in Zones 3–7
• 12 cm+ bulb size (for the largest, healthiest blooms)
• 1 unit = 1 bulb
