Balsam ‘Bush Mix’ is unique in having flowers form at the top of the plant, instead of along the stem. It grows 16 to 24 inches tall and has mostly double flowers in shades of rose, salmon, white, scarlet and violet. Balsams are an old-fashioned choice for the garden, thriving in shade or partial sun. They need moderate to moist conditions and rich, well-drained soils.
